I am originally from Bulgaria, with Georgian ancestry.
I was educated at the Saint Luca National College for Applied Arts (Sofia, Bulgaria), specializing in Textile Art. I then obtained a Bachelor and Masters Degree in the Bulgarian National Art Academy (Sofia, Bulgaria) with the same specialty. After I gained my MA in 2012, I earned a PhD. degree in 2016, in Textile Art and Design in the same institution. The dissertation subject is “The Role of Color in Textile Art. Authors (1960 - 2010)”. I collaborated with scientific advisor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Adelina Popnedeleva.Recently I am an assistant in the painting classes of Prof. Vihrony Popnedelev in the Textile Art and Design specialty in NAA. I am an active artist working mainly in the fields of Painting, Drawing and Textile Art, but I also experiment in the fields of Digital Art, Video Art, Performance Art, Sculpture etc. Ever since I heard that being a real artist is a way of life, I realized that I should dedicate myself to this idea- so this is my passion, dream and ambition.
